Rooted in Jesus set for June 14th at Camp Tuttle!

Join us for this year’s Rooted in Jesus, a special diocesan event designed to nourish your spirit and deepen our shared sense of community. Held in the stunning natural setting of Camp Tuttle, this day-long gathering blends faith, service, and spiritual renewal.

We’ll begin with a “Labor of Love” service project, pitching in to care for our beloved campgrounds. Then, as the afternoon unfolds, we’ll move into contemplative downtime with stations for prayer beads, knitting, and quiet reflection—a time to rest, reconnect, and be renewed.

As evening falls, we’ll gather in the outdoor chapel (weather permitting) for Eucharist, a meaningful expression of worship in the heart of nature. Afterward, enjoy a simple meal, storytelling, and fellowship around the campfire.

This is more than an event—it’s a moment to be rooted together in faith, love, and service.

Registration coming soon.

All are welcome. Come as you are. Leave refreshed.

We encourage all congregations to designate a Sunday in June for a Rainbow Pride Service.

Episcopal Churches of Utah to March in SLC Pride Parade on Sunday, June 8th

The Episcopal Diocese of Utah is joyfully preparing to celebrate Pride Month—a time to uplift our LGBTQ+ siblings and affirm that God’s love is for all people. At the heart of our celebration is a strong diocesan presence in the Salt Lake City Pride Parade on Sunday, June 8, and we warmly invite you to walk with us in solidarity and joy.

We will gather near 100 South and 2nd East, with vehicle check-in by 8:00 AM and general participant arrival at 10:00 AM. Before we step off around 10:32 AM, Canon Jeff Stevenson will lead a brief Eucharist at 10:00 AM, grounding our participation in the grace of community worship.

Let’s make Pride Month—and every day following—a mission to proclaim the inclusive Gospel in which we believe.

Sign-up coming soon…

The Episcopal Church in Utah

Bishop Daniel S. Tuttle formally started the Episcopal Church in Utah with his arrival in Salt Lake City on July 2, 1867. The Church became known for its social justice ministry with the creation of Utah’s first school system for children of all religions. Bishop Tuttle also started St. Mark’s Hospital to serve the thousands of miners who had no other health care options. He tirelessly traveled by stage and horseback to establish churches from Montana to Arizona.
