Pastor Aardahl will be standing outdoors at the entrance door of the church, flanked by two loud speakers will be strong to enough to carry speech to the congregation. The people will be bundled up warmly, we ask, and will remain in their cars, with car windows open. We’re asking that people shine their flashlights during the portion that is traditionally the lighting of candles. Luminaries (brown bags with sand and a battery-operated candle) will light the path to the outdoor chancel. Wine and wafer will be pre-packaged.

Everyone stays in their cars service with carols, a visit from Bishop Nicholas of Myra (5th century) to share the Christmas story with children and a brief adult reflection. We will also be collecting donations for the Road Home Homeless Shelter.
