A Goodbye Message from Camp Tuttle Director Ingrid Van Zanten

To my colleagues, friends of camp, and most importantly, the incredible campers of Camp Tuttle:

Over the past 16 years, I can only hope that I have given you even a fraction of what you have given me. You have taught me to embrace joy in every moment, to laugh deeply, play fiercely, and love without limits. Camp Tuttle will forever be my heart place—a home of unconditional love, growth, connection, and transformation.

To every camper, staff member, and supporter who has poured their heart into this sacred space, I am endlessly grateful. Your dedication to Camp Tuttle’s mission is what makes it so extraordinary. As I step forward into the next chapter of my professional journey, I do so with immense gratitude and the hope that the legacy I leave behind is one of equity, healing, and restoration.

May you continue to connect, challenge, and create in ways that keep the spirit of Camp Tuttle alive and thriving. While my role may change, my love for this community will remain steadfast. Thank you for shaping me, for trusting me, and for allowing me to be part of something so profoundly meaningful.
